Learning to Leverage Your Inner Resources Attracts Health, Wealth & Success

Working mothers of America, multi-tasking anomalies of the male dominated financial world, it's time to unite and turn on your super powers. No more holding back, no more playing small. Forget your fear of being powerful. You couldn't possibly abuse your power more than anyone currently in a position to already is!

Today's lesson starts with a pop quiz; No worries---its multiple choice:

Suddenly you feel a second wind coming on, or perhaps even a third. Was it the extra espresso shot after lunch or are you just pumped about your latest idea? Never mind, no time to dawdle, you only have an extra 40 minutes before you have another commitment. Do you...

A. Clean the kitchen?

B. Hop on your recumbent bike and burn a few extra calories?

C. Run those 3 errands you haven't been able to get to?

D. Check your emails?

E. Emulating your type A friends you put the dishes in the dishwasher, check email while jamming in 12 minutes on the bike then running 1 or 2 of the errands on the way to pick up the kids?

Most working moms I know would go for E or at least some combo of the above. The problem is that the more you are in that mode of doing till you drop, the less effective you actually become. It would appear that there really is no choice in the matter but if a single thought can change history, which it has, then perhaps a little more info or a shift in perspective could alter the course of your destiny as well.

Women are the closest things to super heroes when we set our minds on something. We've just been too busy "spinning" to remember and recognize how powerfully creative we are when it comes to co-creating our lives. Part of the problem comes from programming that said take care of everyone and everything else first.

If in fact you had opted for 24 minutes on the exercise bike you would actually have more energy to do more. You would have provided some critical downtime for your brain. Downloading those looping thoughts from the left hemisphere of your brain creates space for new ideas to come through from the right hemisphere of your brain.

Accessing ideas rather than retrieving and repeating the way it's always been is the key to shifting your reality. Taking time to leverage what you've got, the inner resources that connect you to your internal guidance system is like having a personal GPS set for success. Success your way. Success defined by your ideal day.

So take time to relax, receive and replenish. Know that you are at your highest and best when you are flowing. When you are in touch with your creativity, radiating authentic vitality you will attract more of everything that you need.

Eliminate before you delegate; Delegate all that you can. Do only what only you can do, and that will still be enough!

Try this for a while and notice how as your own energy increases, more of what you've set your mind to will start showing up with a lot less effort. That's the power of leveraging. Investing in yourself will lead to freedom on every level including financial freedom.

Just like a single step doesn't create a path, a new thought here or there won't create the new mental maps that determine your expectations which in turn create your reality. That's why, at BarbaraZagata.com you'll find lots of resources, many of them FREE, to help you make wealth attraction a no-brainer!

A Serial Cheater - How Should She Handle It?

Question: How do you handle a cheating husband or boyfriend?
Answer: You use principles that apply to every relationship situation.

Here's a recent letter from one of my readers (I'll change her name to "Sweetheart"):

Dear Mimi,

What do you do when your husband does not stop cheating? I left him for six months, and served him with divorce papers. He begged me not to divorce him. After some time of thinking how much I do love him, I came back. Then he was once again on the internet and staying out late at night, telling me that he is out with friends. I know the truth.

I am not going to leave the marriage again, and neither is he, but I want respect and my marriage back. There must be another way.

Please help.

--Sweetheart

Dear Sweetheart,

I probably should not advise you here, because only you can make the decision, and from what I read in your letter, it sounds like you plan to stay no matter what. About respect, a lot of it is what you will tolerate. People don't really want to get away with treating someone else badly. They don't feel good about themselves and they end up resenting the person who lets themself be treated badly. Life is short, and there are hundreds of men waiting for a woman to love. Not to mention the fact that it's pretty nice to live without a man in your life. Don't close off your options.

If you are 'determined' to stay with a cheater (something I think you should reconsider), then you might try treating him differently - I would not act victimized by the cheating. Act like you have your own world and are happy - and that you know he is cheating. He'll wonder why his outrageous actions don't bother you. That is a starting point.

Blessings to you, Sweetheart, and I wish you the best.

Sincerely,

Mimi Tanner

Dear Mimi,

I am trying to live my life. I would like to know how I can work with what I have. According to the articles I have read by Cucan Pemo, it said not to confront the cheating husband or try to pull him away from the cheating. Actions speak louder than words.
Tell me if this is true.

--Sweetheart

Hi, Sweetheart,

I have to agree with that. If you try to pull him away from the cheating, then he will only go for it more. Human nature. That cheating will be old and cheap and trashy eventually and it has no soul and can't bring him any joy in the long run. So maybe one way to look at it is to let him be his own worst enemy there - until he finally realizes that it leads to nowhere.

I know some people can't be cured of cheating (serial cheaters). I'd say to work on one goal at a time for yourself and focus on yourself, not on him. The shift in your manner will be noticed by him.

One thing I have learned is to 'let others be.' Let him do what he is going to do. Do not try to stop it. He'll be wondering why there is no resistance from you - and that WILL work in your favor.

It's a big world out there - don't forget !

Take care,

Mimi

Dear Mimi,

Two of my friends said the same thing. I do notice when I am doing my own thing he notices. When my phone rings he asks who is on the phone. I have to go with what you said.

Thank you,

--Sweetheart

Readers: you see - it's absolutely true. When you take care of yourself - and stop focusing on what you can do to save him, help him, change him, cure him, or "make" him love you - you take on a completely different aura, and you throw the old ways of relating with him out of balance.

There is a book out there which I have not read yet, and I'm about to read it. When I do, I'll review it for you. It's been around for a while, and has held its own in the marketplace, so I'm assuming it's good: it's called "Men Made Easy." Review of it coming soon - that's a promise. The author, Kara Oh, recently revamped her website, and I like the new photos on it a lot. I emailed her recently and she's super nice!! Those photos of Kara and her hubby don't lie, so I think maybe her book works, hmmm? Well...I'll let you know.

The interesting thing about Kara is that she is now 57 (and still attractive), so she has the benefit of life experiences to back up what she is writing about. She also lists her phone number in Santa Barbara on her website, which is completely unheard of in the relationship business.

Her website is: Men Made Easy.

Here's what the author, Kara Oh, says:
"Whether you are single or married, been with him a long time or newly involved, having trouble or blissfully in love, Men Made Easy is your relationship survival guide, and your instruction manual for men, all rolled into one!"

I walked over to a fellow football team member and said," Nice game, Waddell." Without a blink, a football helmet was thrust at my mouth, destroying my front tooth. I am guessing that he didn't appreciate my appreciation. Gratitude gone bad at only eight years old. More about the twist concerning this incident later in this article.

When is a simple thank you, not? When is a gracious appreciation or gratitude a manipulation? Scary to even think it, but I am sure that you may have felt it at times when you have received, or maybe given to another person a simple acknowledgment.

Maybe a boss says, "Nice Job," or you say to someone, "Nice Dress." Appreciation like these can leave the person with a sense of fear because they are not clear of the motives. Scary to even receive a simple "thank you" nowadays or that others may have felt the same from your gratitude.

Appreciation can easily be changed from fear producing, unclear words, to words that raise powerful self esteem and are energy builders. Yes, a clear recognition can develop a positive change in body chemistry and be an inexpensive energy booster. An easy way to retain happy employees and management.

A clear appreciation is only a few more words than an unclear one. Take for example, "Nice Job, David." David does not know what his boss is talking about or why he is saying this. David probably is wondering what his boss really wants. Not a feel good feeling from his bosses so called gratitude.

Let us say the boss has read this article and comes back to David with a clear appreciation. It might sound like this: " David, thank you for the finished project ahead of time. I was able to give it to my boss so he can complete his project. It filled my need for responsibility and peace of mind knowing that it is completed. I am really delighted with your work and I thank you for your efforts."

From this clear appreciation, David instantly knows what action his boss is talking about, what need is met, and how the boss is feeling. Far clearer than,"Nice job, David." Instead of wondering about his bosses words, David is probably more enthusiastic about his work and contribution from a few more words of clarity.

There are four parts to giving a clear appreciation.

1: The first is what has happened, let us call it observation, Try to make the observation as concrete as possible. Something you saw, felt, tasted, heard, or even smelled. Keep it as simple as possible.

2: What value is being met, Could be dependability, trust, support, etc.

3: What is the emotion caused from this experience. I enjoy using " I am grateful"

4: Sometimes you may want to ask a question at the end to hear how the gratitude was heard. Just in case it was heard as manipulation,

Let us try another with, "Nice Dress, Mary." Because of the unclear appreciation, Mary does not know what this person wants or is reacting too. Let us make it clear with the three steps.

(Observation) Mary, when I see that flowered red dress, it reminds me of my trip to Hawaii last month.

(Need) I value the memories it brings back and to remember a wonderful experience. (Feeling) I feel so happy thinking about my vacation again. Thank you so much for wearing your dress.

(Question for clarity to make sure that she heard this as a positive appreciation) I am wondering what you are thinking from what I just said?

Mary now has a clear picture why her dress was appreciated and is probably feeling happier than before the appreciation because she has contributed to another person's happiness. We all want to contribute to each other's life. It is a basic need we all have.

Let's get back to young Waddell at the football game. How would it look if I could go back in time and redo my unclear appreciation? I wouldn't give him any type of appreciation and I would have my pearly white tooth in my mouth. My appreciation to him of "Nice game, Waddell" was said in a sarcastic demeaning way because I was second string behind him and he really had a lousy game. An example of how a sarcastic appreciation may be detrimental to both people because I lost the tooth and his parents had to pay for it. Don't say anything unless it is true.

Our personal and business society is appreciation deprived because we hear the negative all day long. An easy way to change this attitude is by giving clear honest gratitude. Try it now by practicing on yourself, thinking of something you did to enhance your life or someone else's. What are you feeling and what need was met by doing the action. See if it raises your self-esteem and energy level. Then give a clear appreciation to someone else.

You can make a positive difference in your personal and professional world starting now. If you choose to make clear appreciations to yourself and others a daily exercise you will liven up your day, raise your self-esteem, and also make somebody else happy.

There are many factors that come into play when it comes to determining a speakers worth in terms of the fees they charge to speak.

1. Who they are - do they have name recognition?

a. Do they have name recognition because they are an expert on a certain topic?

b. Do they have name recognition in a certain field or industry?

c. Do they have public name recognition or corporate name recognition?

2. How unique are they in terms of what they speak about?

Are they considered to be the number one expert on this topic or in this field?

3. How much in demand are they?

4. What kind of events they have spoken at before?

What size audiences and in what kind of venues?

5. Are they being asked for by name?

6. Evaluations from past speaking engagements - how are the evaluations from attendees coming back?

7. Client testimonials - are clients sending testimonials following speaking engagements and is the speaker being booked again by the hosting company or attendees?

8. Topics - are the speakers topics more general in nature?

a. Are the speakers topics more specific and well framed?b. Is the speaker using the platform as a marketing opportunity (to market themselves and their products)? c. Are they using the platform to deliver a presentation that is thought provoking and provides take away value?

9. Credentials can play a big part in what people are able to get for speaking.

10. The length of time involved how long will they be required to be on the platform? Will they be asked to attend any other functions (dinners, meet and greet etc)?

11. Location where is the meeting being held and how far does the speaker have to travel to get there.

12. Does the speaker have a book on the New York Times best- seller list?

a. Has the speaker had much media coverage? b. Have articles been written about them? c. Have they been interviewed for publications? d. Have they been quoted as the authority on a certain topic?

There is no simple answer to what fee a speaker can command or how that fee is determined. Generally the higher profile they have and the more in demand they become the higher their fee will be.

Who Is a Healer?

As my bus stopped at a light, I noticed a man looking about from street sign to building to street sign in confusion. Stopping to help, a passer-by spent the time working to bridge a language gap and, finally, after a smiling breakthrough, was able to point the stranger in the right direction. My bus moved on.

It was the worst of all penalties. A flunked semester in math meant summer school math class for me. I find it taught by a pair of maniacs who love the subject so much, and have found so many interesting and fun ways to use it, my whole attitude toward the subject shifted, even though I never did anything with what I learned.

She was beautiful, blond and about six years old. When she came to me to share her most prized possession, I expected to find something at least as adorable. Scampering quickly to her room, she came out holding a hat protectively. She sat beside me and then, to my jump-out-of-my-chair disgust, pulled what my Brooklyn past could only identify as a sewer rat, inordinately long, patchily spiny-haired and fearfully ugly. She held it to her heart, loving it for all it was worth.

He was the first person I met when I moved by motorcycle to Santa Barbara. When he heard I was a paramedic, he walked me right over to the local Fire Station to introduce me to the Chief, who refused to come out. Later on, hed stand at the same corner almost every day for months. Holding Punch and Judy puppets in his hands, wearing a Jesters high hat with tassels and booties to match, he had a sandwich board on his chest and back reading, Puppets are people, too! He would wave at cars, and then give them the finger.

We were entrusted with the companys first, brand-new, modular ambulance the night before the Mayor was supposed to christen and dedicate it at a big deal official ceremony. A compartment door was left open. When we backed up too close to a wall, it ripped away, taking a chunk of the compartment with it. Our local tow-truck operators, who happened to handle our motor vehicle accident extrications on the side, spent the next 12 hours completely repairing and repainting until it was perfect again. No one ever knew.

She was our maid on Thursdays. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays she was some other white families maid. She was big and black and smelled like ammonia and I could run in to her full speed and shed wrap every bit of her flesh around my six year old body and hug me like I was all there was. Years later, I met some of the other children from families she did her work for. She was the only one that hugged them, too!

When I was 22 I was in jail in New Yorks Rikers Island. Another inmate pulled me aside and said, You know, a young man like you has a few ways to go here. You can get up in the morning and fight, and fight the rest of the day, too. You can go to one of the Big Men here, and let him know youll be his kid. Hell look out for you, but you-will-be-his-kid! The third is you can wait until five or six guys catch you in the laundry room. Then, youll be everyones trick. And the fourth way? I asked. There aint no fourth way! he replied.

He was an old man who I ended up taking back and forth from hospital to nursing home in my ambulance so often I could no longer avoid him. At first, it was all routine transfer -- business. With each trip he was one step closer to the grave. Still, hed bring forth a smile and a story about St. Petersburg, Russia, the Czar and, of all people, Rasputin who lived down the street from him when he was a child.

She had come to town to open a comedy club. She brought up established acts from L.A. and knew she needed to cultivate some local talent, too. Fearing that Open Mic nights would attract drunks telling dick-jokes, she started a Stand-up Comedy Class. I was in the first one. After about six months she pulled me aside and said, You know, at this point I have to admit I dont know how to teach you. Were not in synch. All I can do is give you a place to fail, ten minutes a week.

True Wisdom Will Stand The Test Of Time

Luke 7: 35

But wisdom is justified of all her children.

This is a passage where Jesus is talking to the Pharisees. They had rejected the fact that He was the Son of God, because they had their own expectations of a warrior king that would be sent to physically fight for their freedom from the Egyptians.

God had worked in that way before, and they expected him to do so again. Their thinking was so concrete on the subject that they would not be open to the new thing that God was doing for His people. They also did not want to give up their high positions of power and authority.

They first had a complaint that John the Baptist was a devil because he did not eat, act, and dress like everyone else. Then they tried to spread the rumor that Jesus was a glutton and winebibber because he tried to minister to the sinners who needed His salvation.

Jesus finally told them that wisdom can always be proven by the things that come from it in the future.

James 1: 5 says: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

The wisdom that a Christian receives and applies will stand the test of time. You must always take the revelation of the truth very seriously, though, to make totally sure that you have heard from God.

When you want something badly, it is very easy to justify your own fleshly feelings as pure truth. Your own opinion can sometimes be so strong that you can persuade yourself that the flesh is right.

When you ask for wisdom, you need to get rid of preconceived ideas of your own and be open to what God desires to reveal as His truth. You need to remember that you cannot see into the future, and you will never be able to see the big picture when you only look at things from your fleshly point of view.

When you always do things in the order that God has laid out, people will start to see that you are a person who has much discernment. They will know they can trust you because your wisdom has been justified and proven to be truth. God wants to bless a person like this because He knows He will be able to use them to do His work.

The Israelites were unable to see the great future that God had planned for them and their descendants. They wanted to do things the way they had always done them, because that was all they had known since Moses had taken them out of Egypt.

Do not leave yourself in a box and think that God only has to operate a certain way. He can choose anybody or anything that He desires to work on your behalf.

Ask Him for wisdom, and open your heart and mind to receive the wonderful truths He has for you.

CAPAI -- Christians Against Proselytizing Among Israel -- is an organization headed by Moshe-Mordechai van Zuiden. Is there an equivalent organization of Jews against Jewish proselytizing among Christians? I doubt it.

I am opposed to anybody - Jew, Israelite or Gentile - becoming a convert to the counterfeit Christianity of "traditional Churchianity." Such popular error misrepresents true Christianity with its Babylonian mystery religion dressed up in the drag of "Christianity."

True Christianity, as taught by Herbert W. Armstrong, merely announces the soon coming Kingdom of God to be established by King Messiah, Yeshua. We don't seek converts or believe it's our responsibility to "save" the world. If God wants to save the world, it will be saved. There's no contest between God and the devil, contrary to traditional myths.

I encourage Moshe-Mordechai van Zuiden and others to call upon Jews not to be hypocrites against "Christian" proselytizing while remaining in a self-imposed exile, far away from the Jewish homeland, and having the chutzpah to preach against Jesus in such professing countries, as I've seen on too many forums. Mind you, these forums I refer to were not legitimate Jewish responses to efforts to convert them.

Jews Should Follow Judaism to Israel!

May faithful Jews not confuse ersatz New York with Eretz Yisrael. Israel needs American Jews and American Jews need Israel! Such a great influx of American Jews into Eretz Israel could help sweep away the suicidal peace process and restore Israel to its right mind.

A Jewish Homeland

Weren't the Jews prophesied to return to Israel? Are the Jews ethnic Jews or merely converts? How should Israel treat their resident Arabs? Why does the world focus on Jerusalem for all the wrong reasons?

Homosexuality, Homophobia And The Christian Right

Focus on the Family says that they do not promote hate but yet when I was there (at Focus on the Family), I watched a video saying that homosexuals were out to attack families and that homosexuals had an agenda to ruin them.

This to me is funny and very sad. Do you really think we are hatched or something? We also are human beings and have families. It is very sad for me, especially my family that the Christian Right tries to pass laws that do not allow gays any basic rights. Two examples would be basic domestic partner benefits and hospital visitation rights. Additionally, the Christian Right believes it to be okay to fire someone for having a homosexual orientation. This to me is crazy. How is that equality? The problem is that you are unable to look at a homosexual and see the person/individual. You refuse to see good, just a pathological sexual deviant.

The Christian right chooses to demonize homosexuality as if it is all bad. Sexual orientation is simply that, it is sexual orientation. It is whom we are attracted to sexually and emotionally. We see heterosexuals who abuse their sexual orientation with sex/drug/alcohol addictions and other problems just as homosexuals. But yet you do not pathologize heterosexuality. Additionally, it is preached that homosexuality is a sickness and these people are the cause of AIDS. In fact, most AIDS cases are from heterosexual relations. Also, AIDS is a worldwide problem that affects people from all over the world. The Christian Right argues we need to focus more on medical issues like heart disease than AIDS. I do not agree because most heart disease cases are found in the US and Europe mainly because of poor diet and unhealthy lifestyle choices. Examples include but are not limited to not getting enough exercise, smoking, high saturated fats, etc.

It is important to note that homosexuals can have healthy loving relationships as well. But you will not look at that. Instead, you turn to a scripture on Sodom and Gomorrah. I have read that scripture many times and it does not speak about homosexuality. That scripture is clearly about rape. It is about men that want to have sex with other men against their will. The scripture also does not lie about how women were viewed in the older Hebrew society, and how women at that time lived in a clearly sexist culture. Hence, Lot attempts to give these men his daughters for them to have sex. I never hear anyone ever say how insane that is. Let's cut to the chase here and say that rape is unacceptable whether it is homosexual or heterosexual. Again, the problem is that Christian Fundamentalists lump us all in one category. We are pathologized. The sad thing is that there is no awareness of that. Thus, this is why homosexuals are a marginalized population and continue to be marginalized.

I am an openly gay man. My sexual orientation is big part of my life but not everything. I have a partner, a family, a relationship with my parents, and relationship with my sister, brother in law and my nieces and nephews. I am close to all of them. However, I still have to worry about being called faggot on the streets and have had employers preconceive ideas (negative) about who I am because of my sexual orientation. Additionally, I have had my life threatened numerous times simply because someone thought I was gay. You see, my mother, who is Catholic woman, told me that she does not worry about me catching AIDS but rather she worries about me being gay bashed and murdered.

This is her biggest worry. So, where does this hatred come from? I believe that it comes from churches and authorities in higher institutions such as the government. For example, the military and their don't ask don't tell policy. Clearly, we know what this says about gays. This sets up a good/bad tier system regarding sexual orientation. Again, gay is bad. So I wonder, what is the evidence of that? According to the American Psychological Association, the American Psychiatric Association and the American Counseling Association, there is no supporting evidence that suggests a significant difference between how homosexuals and heterosexuals deal with life and their problems. Fundamentalists, such as Focus on the Family take a few examples and then lump gays into one category, which says we are ill and sick.

The Christian Right ignores or fails to recognize that heterosexuals do and have behaved in similar ways that they say homosexuals do. When a gay person does something wrong, Fundamentalists are quick to point out that we all do it, further perpetuating false, untrue beliefs about all homosexuals. This clearly makes it more difficult to exist in the world. Despite my loving family and the loving support I have from them, I still have to live in this world. I must work and I must go to the grocery stores and malls. I have been almost gay bashed three times after leaving a gay bar with friends at different times and different places in my life in this so called free country. So you really do not understand the power that you have as preachers or pastors? The unfortunate piece is that when you preach that homosexuality is evil, others take those views and believe it. They believe they should and have the authority to enforce them. They may be verbal slurs or even result in violence. I know you say you don't promote this but it happens and these people (your fellow Fundamentalist Christians) use the bible and religion to perpetuate hate by engaging in this verbal and physical violence.

That is how oppression is perpetuated and this is why gays are still a marginalized population. Christians do not have to worry about walking down the street with their husband or wife and get slurred or harassed based on being who they are. Men and women can hold hands together or kiss in public. I do not have that right; otherwise I could get gay bashed. It has happened to my partner and me where we have been threatened when walking home from a grocery store. So no I do not believe that heterosexuals or Christians are a minority. I do not think you clearly understand what it means to be oppressed or be lumped into a category. Gay people have lost their lives because of their sexual orientation and that is THE REALITY.

I believe what you might have been referring to is that you are experiencing an out lash from a group of people tired of being oppressed. I am sorry you have to deal with that but that is what happens when a wounded dog gets backed into a corner. We have seen that happen in other oppressed groups in the United States. Gays have been wounded by an oppressive society and thus we fight for our BASIC RIGHTS. We fight for ourselves, our partners and our families, so that we can live the life that heterosexuals already live. I have hope one day that my partner and I could hold hands and express affection in public.

I don't because it worries him. He does not know how to defend himself and so I do not want him to be harmed. I love him too much for that to happen. However, this does anger me because in my family, I was taught to express my emotions and affections. I learned to love in my family and was taught that you told the ones you care about how you feel. I also learned to express my affections in order to make my future partner feel special. I know you probably won't validate what I have said but it is true. We are human beings with emotions and feelings.

In fact, we are all more the same than different. Maybe one day you will really look at what it means to be Christian, to be Christ like. And as far as I know, Christ understood people, loved them, respected them and validated them. I believe these are the values we need to teach people. We need to look at people individually. We should not judge groups of people and lump them into categories. Thus, in my life and the way I live, I want to look at the individuals and not judge groups of people. I realized that if I lumped people into groups, I would not be able to like anyone on this planet. And in my opinion, there is too much beauty and love in certain people that I don't want to miss out. This includes everyone from all groups!

How To Achieve Solace Amid Catastrophe

As you look around you, perhaps you are one of the people who feel you have been slammed by the universe. Some may feel as I used to - God? What God? How could any god let this happen?

Your pleas and feelings are understandable, but they are not, however, the end of your journey. You will come to know how to achieve solace again, some measure of understanding to ease the torturous pain.

I have been there, too. When injustice felt like a perpetual life in purgatory every day. How did I come out of the shackles of the deepest despair? I wanted to know truth. I wanted to know "why" and I wrote a letter directly to God asking "Why?"

Much to my amazement, I received an answer that immediately lifted the pain. The crushing sorrow that I had come to call my daily existence was suddenly lifted. I received the higher perspective that took the place of how I was viewing the tragedy in my life.

I want this for you, too. If you are feeling shell shocked, as if your heart and soul have been blasted apart and ripped out of your chest, this is the best time to write a letter to whoever or whatever name you give to the must pure spiritual source in the universe - the source of that 'still small voice.' I call that God, and it is crucial that you get in touch with the highest spiritual truths that are behind desperate tragedy so you can come back to life and live again.

I know what it feels like to feel like a breathing corpse. I can promise you that all that is required for you to receive answers that will bring you solace is your deep desire to receive those answers.

Your request for knowledge and understanding must come from the deepest place in your heart.

Humanity cries for the loss of life, and yet what many have not fully integrated into daily knowledge is that when a person leaves this physical life, and crosses over to the other side, they are vibrantly ALIVE again!

If your loved on is on the other side, call out to him! Speak to her. Our loved ones can hear us, they actually visit us, even though we cannot physically see them because they are no longer in a physical body, but their soul, their essence, their consciousness and ALL of the love they feel for you is just as alive as you are right now.

From lifetime to lifetime we experience despair. We do not remember all we have undergone in our prior lifetimes. We do not remember learning so many lessons. This is the lifetime to bridge the gap between human catastrophe and spiritual truth.

Nothing happens in this universe that is void of energy. It is the loving energy in your heart that desires understanding that will receive exactly what you need, you just have to be willing to do so.

Receiving answers from God is far from any sort of special ability. You have been receiving answers throughout all of your life. The inner nudges that guide you to do this or that, to call or write, only for the other person to say, "I was just thinking about you!"

Our energy is felt by our loved ones no matter how near or far away they are. Whether they are on the opposite end of the earth or on the other side, our loved ones love for us remains eternal.

Take out a pen and paper and write Dear ____ (whatever name you give to God, Source, Holy Spirit) and ask from the depths of your heart what you need to know in order to feel your deepest grief lifted.

I have worked with clients whose children passed on. Understandably, they were barely alive themselves. Filled with pain that was torturous at best, they received answers, and they came back to life from the inside out.

If this process did not work, if it was not the time for you to experience this process, you would not be reading this right now. It is time for you to receive answers to your questions. Now, all you need to do is ask, and then listen within your mind to the words that flow into your mind, and write down every word verbatim. Censor nothing. Write down every word that flows into your mind. Then re-read what you wrote. When you ex. When you experience actually receiving answers that are simple, yet profoundly life enhancing, please share this process with anyone who is suffering that is open to this.

It is pure. You deserve answers. Humanity must transform from the current catastrophic perspective. Those whose children have just crossed over to the other side, their children are ALIVE on the other side. Please let this view or perspective into your consciousness, because it is truth.

We all have so much more in common as a human race than our differences lead us to believe. Our hearts share the same feelings. It is time for your heart to finally know inner peace. Ask the questions with a pure heart. Listen within for the words that flow into your mind. Write down every word, then see how you feel after you have received the higher perspective. I care deeply that you feel understanding, as that is the conscious foundation of inner peace.

Credit counseling is becoming more and more popular these days. Many consumers find themselves in financial situations that are spiraling out of control. They want and need help, and so they turn to a Christian credit counseling service.

But which credit counseling service should you choose? Is it even the right choice? Here are some things to keep in mind when looking at a Christian consumer credit counseling service.

How Christian Consumer Credit Counseling Works

A Christian credit counseling service is a good choice when it comes to managing your debt load. They will help you list all of your income and expenses for developing a personal budget. Based on your financial situation they will help you create financial goals and an action plan to achieve the goals.

Through a debt management program a Christian debt counseling service will negotiate with your creditors for you and help you settle your debts for less than what is owed. They can get your interest rates lowered and late fees reduced. You will then give the credit counseling service a specified amount each month and they will distribute the money to your creditors.

Different Types of Christian Credit Counseling Services

There are many Christian credit counseling services from which to choose. There are nonprofit debt management and credit counseling agencies. But you can also find for-profit organizations that offer debt management services.

Chances are, if you are having financial difficulties, it would be difficult for you to pay someone for their help. Fortunately, there are many Christian credit counseling companies who offer their services for free or for a nominal set up charge. The reason they can offer their services at no charge is because your creditors pay them to help you manage your debt.

There are some legitimate credit counseling services who will charge you for their services. These may have counselors with special training or be able to offer something that the free services cannot. Before you choose one of these, be sure that you are truly getting a better deal.

Reason to Work with a Christian Credit Counselor

Many people of faith choose a Christian credit counseling service because it reflects their values. There are many Christian credit counseling services who will structure your plan to allow you to work tithing into your budget. They will also teach you how to avoid getting yourself back into the same situation you are in now.

The counseling portion of the program is just as important as the negotiating with your creditors. These companies will help you to establish a budget. This will allow you the freedom that comes with living within your means. The goal is for you to pay off your debts and then manage your finances in a responsible, Christ honoring way.

Using a Christian credit counseling service is a good move for consumers who want to take control of their debt. Choose a credit counseling service that is reputable, has reasonable rates and have your best interests at heart. Keep an open mind to all of that you will receive and they will get you on the path to financial freedom.

Running on Empty, Reaching For Abundant Life

Running on empty far too long

Help me sweet Jesus get by!

Get beyond just getting by!

To live the true abundant life

Before I reach for pie in the sky

To bring heaven's blessings to earth

Before I think to weep, sob, and cry

Empower me to live again and fly

Higher than my perplexing circumstances

Overwhelming challenges and difficulties

Make me the man I ought to be to live fully

To arise above every adversity and uncertainty

To powerfully push through what I'm going through

To fearlessly and boldly do what I know I ought to do

To not apologize for living authentically and being me

To walk humbly, lovingly, and graciously among humanity

To work tirelessly, but take time to enjoy life joyously

To live with a childlike heart and continually uplift society

To take time to listen attentively and reply compassionately

To forgive, live, and allow people to evolve and also be

As they too mature, grow, and follow their personal passion

Let me be understanding and feel before thinking to take action

Help me to sensitively and intelligently plan ahead as I progress

Help me to never give any less than my absolute wholehearted best

Sustain me when at the end of the day I am weary and in need of rest

Give me wisdom when life and irritating people put my patience to the test

Uphold and embrace me when I feel lonely, confused, and utterly hopeless

Fill me to overflowing so I can rejoice and live without anxiety and stress

Come Lord Jesus and turn every minus into a plus full of divine essence.

The Hero's Journey

Joseph Campbell, mythologist and thinker, describes the Heros Journey that we all embark on during our lives, the first aspect of which is the Call to Adventure. We spend years building a life that is safe and comfortable and secure, and at some point in time we develop a yearning, a desire, or sense that there is something more, something else.

It is a call to move into a different domain, to move onto the next stage. It often involves leaving behind that which is most comfortable and familiar, and stepping into the unknown. Many people have an imagination of how they would like their lives to be, and oftentimes it does not fit well with the reality they have constructed for themselves over the years. Being unpleasant to compare them, they get busy. They attend to the music of the busy outer world so that they dont have to listen to the inner music that was composed as the score for their future destiny.

But this call, this inner music, refuses to fade, and the call is repeated again and again in different forms. By the time an individual reaches the teen years, they have had a calling at least once. A mistake, a chance meeting, an overheard comment, may reveal an entry into another world, a world where an individual is exposed to something that is at once unknown and yet strangely familiar.

Refusing

There exists the choice of refusing to answer the call. And the number of reasons is as numerous as the number of those who have refused. Joseph Campbell points out that when this occurs, the adventure is turned into its negative form. The person becomes a victim to be saved, with boredom and hard work dominating. His flowering world degenerates into a wasteland of dry stones and any house built will be a house of death. All he does is create new problems for himself while he moves slowly towards his disintegration.

Paying attention

The calls become more and more urgent, if you will, over time. An excellent example of this is seen in the movie The Matrix. Here, Neo, the main character, is a computer whiz who also works as a hacker. He is searching for something although he is unsure of what that is. Initially someone begins to communicate with him through his computer and he responds. Then he is invited to go to a nightclub. Again easy to respond to. He is offered a meeting with someone who can give him what he wants. Again he agrees. In the car on the way to the meeting he is held at gunpoint and decides he wants out because it is getting to be too much. When he opens the door, one of the women says to him, You have been down that road. You know exactly where it ends. And I know that's not where you want to be

At this point he has to make a decision. Resume the life he has been leading, searching, unfulfilled, wanting or continue in the adventure and have the life he knows is really his. And eventually it gets to a life or death situation. He chooses to put his life on the line to save another.

Where are you?

And in a sense it becomes that for all of us. When you consider that life depends on death for its perpetuation, those things that die become nutrition for new life, Joseph Campbell suggests that the resolution of this paradox is one of the functions of the myths of the world. It is a useful way for humans to assimilate this knowledge and live with death. So to become who you really are, you have to stop being what you were. There is a death and rebirth, an ending of a particular way of being in order that you can begin to live life anew, to walk your unique and individual path so that you begin to make your dreams a reality.

If a man advances confidently in the direction of his dreams to live the life he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours

The 2008 election is America's defining "moment" as the land of opportunity, regardless of winner. If America waits another four years to embrace its role in the world, the election and the campaign year chiseled out its position in the world as definitively as the cannon shot at Gettysburg.

The world anti-slavery movement was in full swing by the time America's civil war broke out in 1861 and went on for four years. Likewise, globalization had been galloping along when America stepped up to the plate and hit a home run in the final game of the global World Series with its two presidential slates. Overnight, women and nonwhites were part of the American mainstream and the global issues facing America wrestled each other to the ground.

As the world's ideal of democracy, the United States came to be loathed for its cavalier adventurism as globalization took off after the Second World War and the worldwide advance of technology. America's leadership as a power for good was lost as its independence turned into a stubborn balking about joining in with an increasingly interdependent world, even as the term "American as apple pie" remained a vague, feel-good concept to Americans who saw themselves in the image of noble British pilgrims building an unprecedented democracy in a new land where civilization and the primitive collided.

Then the year 2008 arrived with its landmark election and a woldwide financial crisis created to a large extent by American policy and practice. The bottom line of economics that defines world stature walloped the country even as the national culture opened its eyes to its position as the land that truly affords opportunity within the world.

The 2008 American election year couldn't have offered a broader menu of sudden opportunities. It opened the way for a half-African American presidential candidate to run against a right-wing beauty-queen vice-presidential candidate tapped by a maverick conservative when runaway financial institutions made an average American "Joe the plumber" into a celebrity with political potential even as two underdogs faced off in the stabilizing all-American sport of baseball in the World Series, which itself made history due to weather.

All those events came after the Olympics in China broke global viewership records because of modern communications through the combined technology of the internet and television that built on lessons learned from previous failings in covering global events. That included the timing of key events to bring them live into American homes across time zones as an American swimmer broke a world record with gold.

The liberal American Democratic Convention that came right after spoke of optimism and power through diversity and a triumph of excellence from competing based on equality. The conservative Republican Convention that followed with its surprise cheerleading vice presidential candidate was a blast of nasty protest against the change that was professed as wanted.

In the months that followed, as those two themes solidified into their polarities, the long-term character of America as a power for good in the world emerged, by the definition of "good" as openness and adaptability for growth, in contrast to a force for "bad", defined as fearful, stagnant, stubborn, secretive, manipulative and operating through fear in a willful insistence on imposing control.

Eight years of an American policy based on the latter was the tidal wave that led to the defining moment of America waking up to a global reality. There's a good chance an economic collapse can be avoided if the implications of that global reality are grasped.

A late October report by the Paris-based Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), composed of 30 of the world's most developed countries, showed the United States as third, behind Mexico and Turkey, in the growth of the income gap between the rich and poor in their countries over the past 20 years. According to the report, the rich were leaving behind both the poor and the middle class by a rate that was most stark in the United States.

The average income of the richest 10 percent of Americans is $93,000 a year while that of the poorest is $5,800. The average of the richest for the other Organization countries is $54,000 and for the poorest is $7,000. In addition in America, the richest 10 percent hold 71 percent of America's net worth, leaving the other 90 percent to split the remaining 72 percent.

The main reason for the disparity, according to the report, was the increasing difficulty of the poor to find work.

Conservatives, wanting the world as it has always been, complete with inequalities, lean on outworn explanations for current situations. The wealthy Republican presidential candidate has an easy time convincing a grousing "Joe the plumber" that the world is taking his jobs away.

The open-handed, forward looking Democrat, meanwhile, knows that the answers aren't contained in trying to make the world go away. The smart American knows that the solution is to retool America to embrace its identity as a force for good in leading the world toward innovation, prosperity and more equality.

Riding the Open Road on a Motorcycle For the First Time

At one time or another we have all come across the expression "riding the open road". We may have heard it in an exciting movie, read it in a magazine, or we could have overheard it at a restaurant where a biker's club had gathered.

Familiar with the phrase, I never really grabbed its essence, until I actually sat on a bike and experienced my first official group ride. You see, tired of boring weekend evenings on the couch watching old flicks, CSI re-runs and way too many commercials, my husband and I decided it was time to shift gears and start making memories again.

After a brief talk, we decided that the best way to fight our monotonous nightlife was by replacing it with a pastime that would roar with excitement. In other words, we bought a motorcycle, and joined a club. It was quite a decision and my friends responded to it exactly the way I thought they might. They bombarded me with warning emails, pointing out every possible risk and drawbacks associated with such an extreme hobby.

Despite all the turn-off notices, I fortunately still wanted to give it a try. I was tired of simply existing in my comfort zone, felt quite enthusiastic about a change, and strangely enough, sensed no fear, neither of the lurking dangers on the road, nor of the tough-looking crowd my husband and I had joined at the gathering place. All those leather jackets, weathered faces, scruffy hair do's, beards and pony tails were attributes I had never seen myself fancied with, especially not in my pre-retirement years. Yet, here I was, eager to go, all dressed up in my brand-new, safety padded jacket with zippered vents, my state-of-the-art helmet, complete with 'do-rag' and my exclusive traction-control black boots, the only leather pieces in my biker's wardrobe so far.

In preparation of our first ride with the club, my husband had previously taken me on two short trips around the neighborhood. To my delight, I felt quite comfortable on the passenger saddle and never had a boring moment. Busy bee as I usually am I was afraid that my limbs would start twitching if they were unable to perform some kind of chore, but surprisingly that did not happen. Actually, I was impressed, as I began seeing things in our own town's backyard I had never noticed before, and when the ride was over, I could not help but wonder as to when I was going to start feeling that "fear", several of my car-loving friends had so extensively talked about. Of course I was anxious, but it was the good kind, that sort of apprehensive curiosity that soon would turn into an eager desire to give it another go.

So, here we are, ready to hit the open road. I must admit that I felt a bit proud, me, grandmother of seven, riding in staggered formation in a real biker convoy. Not that I felt macho or tough, but there was something magical about being accompanied on my journey by adventurous people, who are happy to live life to the fullest. It was as if a warm security blanket was wrapped around me, and feeling all fuzzy and warm inside, I was able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Arizona desert to the fullest. I had seen many sunsets before, but this one was different, more vibrant and mesmerizing. Accessorized by the sounds of the cycle engines, the whistling wind, and bathing in nature's cool scents, it felt as if I had just discovered the Sonora wastelands, truly seeing it for the very first time. Surrounded by the reddish glows of a descending late-summer sun, I scouted the tapestry of the desert landscape. Saguaro cacti, tumble weed, fairy dusters, ocotillo, and many other hardy plant were growing freely, exactly where nature intended them to be, and I realized, I too was exactly where I had to be, tightly holding on to my husband, the wind pounding on my face, and my pant legs joyfully flapping in the nightly breeze.

Of course, there are still a few bugs that need to be ironed out. As a typical female, I'm still struggling with my flattened hair after I remove my helmet, and am still leery to grab my drink when I am thirsty while riding, but I know that, in due time, and with the help of my new friends, I will learn, and in the end, prevail with confidence.

Flexibility and Competitive Rates Go Hand in Hand

Personal finance is a generic term for any type of loan that offers the maximum flexibility and can be used for one's own personal interests. These cash advances are often much more specifically defined by what they are used for or how they are used. External monetary assistance is required for most things in life- so getting to know how these finance options work and how to make use of them are two very valuable economic lessons.

The functioning of personal loans in India is based on interest. Interest is a tool lenders use to make profits from the money they invest in the process of lending. Interest is often expressed as a percent and calculated annually. This percent is applied to the total amount of the loan borrowed by the loan applicant and is expected to be paid by the borrower on the mutually agreed time. Obviously, personal finance interest rates should be competitive to offer the ease of easy repayment.

Personal loans India can be studied under two head i.e. secured and unsecured. A secured loan is a type of loan that makes use of the equity of the pledged security. Security is just a simple term used to describe any valuable type of item offered to the lender as guarantee . Common securities in the Indian banking system are vehicle, home, property, or even jewellery. Secured loans make lending money less risky for lenders, and thus, borrowers get better personal finance interest rates. Unsecured loans are the straight opposite of the secured loan plans. They don't make use of any security, and have higher personal finance interest rates or less appealing contractual terms as a result. Unsecured personal loans India are generally for anyone who doesn't have proper security or for loan amount that is too small to really qualify for a secured loan.

Personal loans India, as stated previously, break down into more specific forms of lending. They can be used for home improvement and in such case they are referred to as a home improvement loan. Likewise, a loan for purchasing a car is called an auto loan. This information typically goes to say that how specific specific a loan is. The borrower here gets the complete flexibility to use the loan amount according to his wishes The borrower should keep in mind that lenders offer different personal finance interest rates and conditions. This means that going to different lenders and requesting quotes can help consumers find the best personal loans India for their situation. When someone one is doing so, it will also influence many lenders to offer more competitive rates, as they don't want to lose business to competitors.

There are several uses of the personal finance. Whether for obtaining necessary items such a house, or recreational vehicles such as an all terrain vehicle or a boat- the personal loan can fit the purpose. The personal finance interest rates, loan types, and other factors that go into pricing a loan are important to remember, and as always, try to shop around as much as possible before deciding on one lender makes the loan deal profitable. These loans are also available online. Hence, the borrower may go for Internet facility if he wants to have quick money. Online loans carry a competitive interest rate and have fast accessibility . The borrower must be punctual in the repayment of the borrowed if he does not want the payable interest rate to climb up and destroy his credit record and credibility. Regular repayment also enables the borrower to raise required fund at the time of need without any hassles.

Most contractors don't know how powerful it is to publish their own insurance bid specifications every year. When you can do this, you can interrogate the market at will, and save a lot of money. This applies to Liability, Auto, Property, and Workers Compensation Insurance.

1. Your bid specifications should provide everything broker needs to produce a quotation.

It takes time and effort to build a full set of specs, but well worth it. They are pivotal to driving down insurance costs. Once they are developed, updating them once a year is easy.

You can hand your bid specs to any broker you please. We measure quality by an absence of questions from brokers. If you get questions, record them along with the answers into your bid specs.

Your bid specifications should describe your operations, exposures, coverage and certificate requirements thoroughly. They should be maintained and kept current at least annually.

2. Tables in bid specs

Your bid specs should contain lots of tables - vehicles, drivers, sales, payroll, subcontractor costs, equipment, job history, and of course your policy & loss history we covered in Chapter 5. You can get these tables set up in spreadsheets, and they are easy to update. We use an online database to help us keep our clients organized.

Vehicles Year, make, model, Vehicle ID Number, gross vehicle weight, garaging location, cost, any special equipment, loan number, lender name and address

Equipment Show year, make, model, item, Serial number, actual cost, current value, year purchased,

Drivers Name, license number, license state, birth date, date hired

Sales Show 5 years history of sales by type of work. Break out by Commercial vs Residential, remodeling versus new construction. Project the same variables for the coming year.

Subcontractor costs Show 5 years history of subcontractor costs by type of work they did. Project the same variables for the coming year.

Payroll Show 5 years payroll history by workers compensation class code. Show average wage for class, and number of employees. Project the same variables for the coming year.

Job History It really helps to present a report of your job history. Do 5 years if you can, but at least present what you did last year. Break out by Commercial vs Residential, remodeling versus new construction. Report jobs you expect to do next year.

3. Description of Operations

Describe what you do. The job history report above really helps save words here. You can probably find a good description of your general operations already written on your web site.

3. Questionnaires -

Brokers have to fill out lots of questionnaires. Get them, and complete them. Keep them, and update them each year. Do not allow a broker to interview you, then fill out the form and not give it to you. This is a common mistake. You have every right to possess a copy of information provided to insurance companies. Don't let brokers tell you otherwise.

Questionnaires include: Contractor supplementals, Workers comp supplementals, and the standard acord applications for the various lines of coverage. Getting these in your records is a good step in the correct direction.

If your broker doesn't want to give you these, it is probably time to have a heart to heart talk with your broker, or consider getting a new one. If you start a new conversation with a new broker, you can establish an agreement you will get the applications in exchange for giving the new broker a chance to quote. This move will go far towards driving down your expenses.

4. Coverage

Brokers pride themselves on designing coverage to meet your exposures. Request a detailed listing of your current coverage, and ask for how it could be improved. Do this with each broker you deal with. This is a practical way to get a coverage spec page set up for your bid specs.

5. Locations

For each location you occupy (not your job sites) brokers need to know quite a bit of information. Ask your broker for the applications for property coverage, so you can be sure all the information is complete and accurate. Of course keep a copy of the application for your bid specifications.

6. Certificate needs

Make it clear what you need in the way of certificates, right in your bid specs. Providing examples of certificates you need, especially the difficult ones can save you a lot of headaches later.

Cheap insurance: I'll reveal more ways anyone can get massive discounts without downgrading their coverage. Don't fail to take note of the precautions you're advised to take as you implement these tips...

1. Although you have the option of insuring against every imaginable peril, you really do NOT need to. The probability of certain perils in your location is too low to make purchasing home insurance coverage for them necessary. Different states have perils that have high chances of occurring and those that are almost impossible.

2. We sometimes want to renovate our house. Bringing down your rate might not even be on your mind as you do it. You want to make sure that your home is just the way you like it with everything working perfectly well.

If you do this you'll qualify for a reasonable discount. So make sure your agent is informed about it.

New houses and renovated homes will bring you cheaper rates always. Nevertheless, remember that the level of renovation carried out will also determine the amount of discount you'll receive.

3. You'll save if you get all your policies from the same insurance company. This makes you eligible for a multi-policy discount. Even though you will receive discounts for buying multiple policies from the same insurer, you may make more by purchasing each of your policy from different insurers.

4. Do you have fire escapes in your home? Do not fail to let your agent know about this or you might miss the discount you should get. And this applies even if yours are as simple as rope ladders for rooms in the upper stories of your home.

If, on the other hand, you do not have any fire escape or the right number and kind, you're likely missing out on discounts you should obtain. And do not forget to ask your agent what your insurer counts as a standard fire escape since complying with that guarantees savings.

5. The most important route to reasonable savings in home insurance is comparison shopping -- That's if you do it right. You can get quotes that will have a range in excess of $1,000. You could conveniently save so much by just picking the lowest quote.

This should apply if you're just after the lowest price. However, if you're after the best price/value then you'd have to check the details of the lowest offers. Different insurance companies may have adjustments for similar policies. It's a good idea to ask the agent what's included and what's excluded.

Finance a New Car - Tips From the Experts

Tip #1 - Shorter Is Better

If you have to finance a new car, shorter is better. As Peter Valdes-Dapena of CNNMoney points out,

There are serious downsides to this approach, though. Besides paying thousands more in interest, buyers taking out long car loans are more likely to find themselves in a financial bind if they need a new car again in just a few years. That could happen because of an accident or simply because a car owner is tempted by a newer model.

One way to avoid this potential problem is to have a larger down payment so you have a smaller amount to finance on a new car loan. Another safeguard is to take the shortest loan term for which you can handle the monthly payments.

Tip #2 - Financing First

According to the editors at Edmumds.com, if you arrange financing before you go to the dealership, you are in a much stronger position to negotiate. This important step presents a number of advantages because it keeps negotiations simple in the dealership and allows you to shop competitive interest rates ahead of time. It also removes dependency on dealership financing and encourages you to stick to your budgeted amount.

Tip #3 - Comparison Shop

Shop around to get the best possible price on your new car. Check newspaper ads, dealer showrooms, and the Internet. Plan to negotiate as most dealers are willing to give a little from their profit marginusually between 10 and 20 percentto make the sale. If you dont find what you want at the neighborhood dealerships, consider ordering your new car. There are several reputable car-buying services online.

Is Online Auto Insurance Safe And Reliable?

People are always looking for cheap car insurance, with reasonable insurance premiums. Some are looking for first time car insurance coverage for their teenagers.

This question has posed lots of controversy - is online insurance as safe as it would be if you went to the insurance office and acquired it yourself? Through recent research studies, the Internet has taken almost all of the hassle out of shopping for auto insurance. You do not have to listen to a boring sales pitch from people trying to land your account just so they can make a sale.

When you think about how reliable online auto is, you must consider the information you type in. You wouldn't want to put in some wrong information in case you did have an accident and suddenly find out that you weren't covered because the information you gave them was incorrect.

Before acquiring an online quote, be sure you have all the information in front of you just as you would if you were at the insurance office.

The major insurance companies will give you a free quote without charging you, and you can compare their price against several other company quotes. The best thing to do is to make sure that the company you choose can provide you with instant proof of insurance that can be printed out and carried in your insurance folder that you carry in your automobile.

Always read the fine print, as this is one of the main reasons that a policy will not payoff if you are involved in an accident. People don't realize that even though it is not against the law to eat, drink, or even smoke while they are driving, most policies state that these such things are considered as negligent, and therefore will not payoff. Therefore it is up to the consumer (you) to be sure to read all the fine print.

Another misconception is that people think that they are covered when they drive their friend's car. In most cases THEY ARE NOT COVERED. If you are the only driver that is covered in your vehicle, NEVER loan your car to a friend or relative. If they are involved in an accident, YOU are the one that is responsible, not just the person driving your car.

Telling the insurance company that you drive 10 miles to work when it is actually 20 miles, will make your policy invalid. Remember, BE TRUTHFUL when you acquire insurance because it is there to help you.

Many auto insurance companies offer discounts which are readily available. For instance, you could get a discount for being a senior citizen, having certain safety features on your car. If you belong to any auto clubs will make your insurance premium rate even lower. Some occupations produce safe driving records that will also lower your rates. Some auto insurance companies also give a discount if you cover your automobile and your house.

Consumers can be at ease by shopping online for automobile insurance, it is entirely safe and secure, just remember to be honest.

One of the worst things about your home being burgled is the inconvenience; this comes after the feeling of violation and the trauma. It is a horrible feeling to walk through your home and see treasured belongings missing; sometimes it takes days to discover your loss fully. This in itself is traumatic; you relieve the episode daily as you discover missing items.

There are a number of steps that have to be taken after a loss incurred by burglary, these include, but are not limited to:

  • Who is going to deal with repairs such as broken locks and windows or whatever other damage has been caused. Sometimes burglars enjoy indulging a little vandalism too!
  • You have to be able to prove what has been stolen, so for instance if your grandmother's Cameo was taken, you won't have a receipt of proof of purchase, but still need to prove that you had it and it was taken in the burglary.
  • How you are going to calculate the loss and who is going to arrange valuations and estimates on your behalf.
  • Are you going to be the one who is going to deal with all the tribulations of presenting your claim as well as dealing with meetings and daily calls to the suppliers, insurance company and loss adjuster? Or will someone co-ordinate this for you?
  • How long is all this going to take and how drawn out will the process be?

It is possible to by-pass all of these tedious details by appointing a claims consultant or loss assessor. The loss adjustor works together with the insurance company and is looking after their best interests, not yours. Although you are a client, the insurance company will try everything to not have to pay out more than they have to.

A loss assessor will prepare your claim and take care of everything pertinent to that claim. They will also represent you to the insurance company and loss adjuster to ensure that you are not going to be handed the short end of the stick by them.

Even though the insurance company's loss adjuster might appear friendly and helpful, he is compelled by his employer, the insurance company, to settle the claim as economically as possible. Whatever he tells you, you will be unable to assess whether this is the truth or not, or if you will be on the receiving end of what you are actually entitled to.

It is also increasingly common for insurance companies to reject the recommendations of loss adjusters and they try to adjust some claims even lower. By using the services of a loss assessor, you can ensure that his communications with the loss adjuster and insurance company will work to your best possible benefit.

Insurance companies also try to insist that you make use of their supplier network; this is definitely not to your best benefit and doesn't suit everyone.

By engaging the services of a specialist loss assessor, your best interests will be served, allowing you the breathing space to get over the actual trauma of a burglary without additional worries.

Bad Credit Auto Loans For Everybody

Working as a financial consultant, I get hundreds of inquiries on car loans, both for used and new cars. People have many different reasons to find themselves in need of buying a motor vehicle, nearly 50% of the inquiries I receive are from customers who work two jobs and need the car to go from one work place to the other. The rest of the queries belong mostly to students and bad credit people. This article is a recompilation of the answers I give to my customers. Read on, and you will find out that indeed anyone can have access to an auto loan.

There Is Help Out There For You

Okay, you have bad credit, so what? Learn that you are not alone, there are thousands out there like you, and chances are they have needed or will need finance at some point. Now the question is, were they able to get it? If so, how? The financial industry is expanding on a daily basis, many applicants who were denied an auto loan years ago will probably be able to land one now. Lending institutions and banks are always looking to offer more and more services, and bad credit lending has come a long way. You will most likely be able to obtain finance even if your credit is less than perfect. It is only a matter of thorough research and, more than anything else, patience. Lots and lots of patience.

Naturally, the quality of the deal you will get depends on how bad your credit is, do not expect to get the best deal there is if you have a 450 score. Lenders will also look at your monthly income, so keep in mind that a reasonably high income will often make up for a low credit score. If time is on your side, then take a few months before trying to apply for a bad credit auto loan to gradually improve your credit score. Bear in mind that, the higher your score, the better loan terms you will get. It is as simple as that.

Where To Look?

Nowadays, the net provides the widest database you will ever encounter. So, logically, there is no better place to look. Take your time to read everything carefully, ask for loan quotes to the lenders who offer them for free and make comparisons. It is an arduous job, but if you want to find the best offer, it has to be done. In the end, you will see it is all worth it.

Beware of the lenders asking for your social security number, not because they might seek to scam you, but because they will surely do an inquiry on your credit report. If they do not approve your loan request, your credit score will suffer, and I guess that is the last thing you need right now.

I Told You So

As you can see, it is not difficult for the average person to obtain finance for a motor vehicle. Most of the times, you will have to get the loan first (or at least find out how much you qualify for), and then start looking at cars. It is often hard to know where to begin, at least now you know what to expect when you go out there looking for funding! Make the most of it.

Teens and Auto Insurance: How to Get the Best Deal

Your teens growing up fastand now they want the car keys. And while this milestone may have you aching for latter days, it will almost certainly have you clutching your wallet.

Thats because the vast majority of insurers consider drivers under 25 to have a higher incident of serious car accidents. And the increased risk associated with teen drivers can inflate your insurance rates by 50 to 100 percent, according to the Insurance Information Institute (I.I.I.).

Securing an Affordable Insurance Premium

Fortunately, by working together, you and your teen can minimize insurance costs, largely through insurance discounts.

You and your teen can help secure affordable auto rates and:

Keep a clean driving record. Your teens accidents and traffic violations can increase insurance rates more than you might think. A more serious offense like an OWI charge can boost premiums from a few hundred dollars a year to a few thousandand will stay that way for three to five years.

Get involved. Insurers reward teens who get involved in the community. If your teen volunteers or belongs to a civic group like the Girl Scouts of America, let your insurer know!

Maintain good grades. Most insurers reward student drivers who maintain at least a B-average with lower auto insurance ratesgiving your teen yet another incentive to do well in school.

Drive a safe car. If you can get your teen in a safe car, youll likely be compensated with a lower auto insurance rate. Safe vehicles include newer, mid-sized cars with multiple airbags. In addition, the I.I.I. recommends steering clear of cars that encourage reckless driving, such as sports cars and SUVs.

All of these factors lower your teens risk of accident and serious injury in the eyes of your insurer, thereby lowering your teens auto insurance rates and saving you money!

Additional Tips

One of the most common myths about insuring teen drivers is that its cheaper to put a teen on their own policy. According to the I.I.I., its generally cheaper to add a teen driver to your existing policy than it is to purchase a separate policy. If your teen has a car of their own, insure it with your company to get a multi-car policy discount. But, as with all insurance types, shopping around before insuring your teen will help you find the best price for the coverage you need.

The I.I.I. also recommends that guardians talk to their teen about defensive driving. Accidents occur each year from teens using their cell phone, listening to music or chatting with friends while in the drivers seat. Reminding them that driving is a privilege and discussing consequences of reckless driving will help reinforce good driving habits.

Not sure your teen will heed your advice? Fashion a driving contract stating their commitment to being safe on the road and their punishment for irresponsible driving. And while difficult, many parents are learning the value of incorporating a drunk driving clause to driving contractsdirecting their teen driver to call home for a ride if theyre unable to drive their car.

Get Your Responsible Teen on the Road!

When it comes to teen driving, open communication about responsibilities, habits and consequences will help your teen make good decisions behind the wheel, keep them safeand help you maintain affordable car insurance!

Small Business Liability Insurance

It is imperative for small businesses to have a liability insurance coverage as protection against claims that can render it bankrupt. While buying liability insurance, small businesses should take a few necessary steps.

The first of these steps is to belong to a credible association. Several trade associations, the Chamber of Commerce perhaps being the most famous, allow members the luxury of purchasing insurance at group rates. Also, it is wise to look for other associations that give insurance rates that are appropriate for the size of the business.

A thorough research is invaluable. The details of the policy should be comprehensively reviewed to see what is included and what is not. Also, while buying insurance, a small business should study the industry to have a better idea of what the coverage should be like. Talking to peers is a good way to estimate the coverage limit.

A small business should always look for a package deal. Purchasing different deals from various insurers can increase the premiums. A small business should look into several things before purchasing liability insurance. A BOP (Business Owners Policy) is one package that can be beneficial to a small company. BOPs serve a dual purpose of giving minimal rates and coverage at the same time. It should be understood that all insurance does not fall under Business Owners Policy. Errors and omissions coverage is generally required independently. The business industry has many hidden risks. An experienced insurance broker can help in identifying these risks.

Guarding a small business from the myriad of risks lurking in the market is the base for a successful business. There is no harm in taking time out to research your insurance needs with an insurance representative as well as with peers. It could just turn out to be a significant decision.

Getting a No Credit Check Auto Loan is Simple

In many cases, preventing a person from having a car just because he has a poor credit history is not always the greatest idea. Indeed, in many cases, individuals with bad credit histories would actually make payments on time if given an auto loan.

Financial institutions might try to prevent bad credit debtors from getting the loan of their choice, since they expect that debtors with bad credit are likely to default on payments. Fortunately, no credit check auto loans will allow you to circumvent this problem. All you have to do is select one of these loans from an endless number of providers.

You will have to prepare yourself to admit a down-payment when you expect to get such a loan. They are intended to give you a better start on the right track--from a situation where you had a bad credit history. Often, people like this lost their job and were not able to make payments, but now that they have a new job, are able to pay once again. So, these kinds of loans can be the blessing which helps them to off get a good start.

When taking out such a loan in the middle of your financial crisis, never think that all roads are closed--and hastily finalize with a single provider. There is nothing limiting you from getting the best quote and deal. Make sure that the money you pay towards the loan is only around twenty percent of your income. In such a condition, you will not feel that taking a loan with bad credit is such a burden.

Never fall for the words of lenders without a second thought. None will advise you to take risks that will make your life miserable. You must be smart enough to ensure that you are not stepping into trouble, such that no one else will be able to help you out. Even if the words of lenders seem so pleasing, never take out a loan you are unsure about. Being courageous never means that you have to take on risk unnecessarily.

The fees, interest rates, terms and conditions of loan and payment methods of no credit check auto loans will be different for different lenders. This means that chances of getting a provider according to your requirements is never far away. All you have to do is compare lenders and select the one which gives you the best offer.

Lower Car Insurance Rates for Students

Usually, the best way to get lower rates for a student is to add their name to an existing car insurance policy. If they own the car themselves or are obviously the primary driver simply adding their name isnt possible. There are, however some more tips specific to students for lowering car insurance rates. Have a look.

Outrageously high student car insurance rates

A recent survey showed that the average student can expect to shell out anywhere between four and ten thousand dollars a year. Car insurance companies charge these outrageous rates because, of course, new drivers are a much higher risk.

Thinking back to when I was in high-school its a wonder any of us were insurable at all. There were however some among us that certainly deserved much lower rates than others. Most of those safer drivers fell into an easy to spot pattern. With a bit of searching you should be able to find a car insurance company that looks for this pattern as well.

Criteria car insurance companies use to determine lower student rates:

This is by no means a complete list of criteria car insurance companies look at to determine rates. These are simply common signs that a student isnt a hormone enraged psychopath behind the wheel of a death machine.

Lower rates for Grade A Students

The majority of insurance companies consider honor roll students to be safer drivers. Perhaps its because they have more to live for, or maybe its because theyre so busy studying that they dont have much time for driving dangerously. Whatever the case submitting a report card with a B average could bee all you need to lower your rates.

Extracurricular activities equals safer driver

College students in the Golden Key National Honor Society receive lowered rates from most car insurance companies. Also students that are involved in or are members of fraternities, and student associations like student congress are more likely to receive a discount on their overall premium.

Proximity to school and work Insurance companies figure that any student that owns their own vehicle must have a job. If said job is within a certain distance from home and school you may qualify for a low-mileage discount. This can also include university students that live on campus and therefore dont need to drive back and forth to school on a regular basis.

Getting a car can be the thing that a great deal of your future hinges on, so take some time to make sure that you are not going to be in a situation where you will need to see it rejected. The truth of the matter is that getting a car loan application approved is actually a great deal more likely and possible than you might think, so remember that you only have to keep some information in mind when it comes right down to it.

In the first place, you want to make sure that there are no surprises for you involved in the process, so make sure that you take a look at your own credit report. This will actually be a lot easier than you might think; many states will give you a free credit report every year, and all you need to do is ask for it. You'll find that when you do this, you will have good important information that is often used to make decisions regarding your future, so make sure that you are looking at what they are going to be seeing.

Similarly, you'll find that your car loan application will be need to have your credit report in as good shape as possible, so this may require some planning. Take a look at a few good techniques for making sure that your credit reports look better, and if at all possible, get those techniques underway long before you need to apply for a car loan. Finally, just remember that there are more fish in the sea! Not all car loans are created equal, and remember that just because one car loan doesn't do anything for you that not all of the others will do the same. Remember that you should always look at more than one lending institution and that regardless of what response you get at the first place, you'll find that it should not stop you from looking at the second.

When you are shopping around, remember that you should consider many different sources. Don't only consider what the car dealership may be offering, nor just your local bank or credit union. Also get loan quotes from other places, including doing some online shopping, since there are many places online that can give killer deals on car loans.

Finding the right car loan application can be problematic, but remember that above all things, you should keep looking. It might be frustrating, but have faith that you will win out in the end! Flood Insurance

There are many risks that people are accustomed to insuring against. These will include, health insurance, auto insurance and fire insurance. There are others that are less familiar, such as dental and flood insurance but there are many reasons why you should reassess the insurances you currently have in place and perhaps consider relocating them to cover the risks that you are most afraid of experiencing.

For example, did you know that losses due to floods are thirty times more likely to occur than fire losses? This is especially true if your home is located in a flood prone zone. While flood loss is generally less devastating than fire loss, if your home is located in a flood prone zone, the chance of even experiencing catastrophic damage is still 25% greater from flood than from fire.

Flood loss

Most basic home insurance policies do not automatically include flood loss as standard. Commercial property policies are the same, with flood loss only being covered if it is specifically mentioned in the policy. If the flood is extremely severe, it may be classified as a disaster site by the federal government. This will cause some protection to be made available in the form of loans. These loans, which come through the Federal Emergency Management Assistance program, are not like insurance however, as you are required to pay back the loan that they give you, as well as any other home loans you already have. They will also require you to carry flood insurance in the future. The other thing about the Federal Emergency Management Assistance program is that it only kicks in if your area and flood are declared a federal disaster site. This can be fairly rare when compared to the amount of floods that are experienced annually.

Flood insurance will be offered by various insurance companies but should be backed by the National Flood Insurance Program. This type of coverage, which is supported and regulated by the federal government, is the only type of flood insurance that will fully protect your home and contents from rising water flood insurance.

Shop Around

If you are considering taking out a policy of this kind, shop around for the best rate and find out what is covered and what is excluded. It may be that a specific companys exclusion is exactly the situation in which you require coverage and other companies may not have the same exclusion so you are wise to shop around. Also, all insurance companies vary in what they offer and what they charge. Do not accept the first offer or quote you receive and do not expect all companies to provide the same deals. You should always shop around when it comes to insurance and find yourself the best deal available.
